Jenny Cheng Wang received a B.A. in Fine Arts and Art History from Bryn Mawr College. Working with sculpture and material-based practices, her work begins with sensation before language, tracing how feeling slowly gathers into form.
Her practice lingers at fragile thresholds where emotion precedes meaning and memory is carried by the body, prior to language. She is drawn to quiet tensions between self and world, softness and pressure, visibility and restraint. Through attentive material choices and restrained structures, her work holds moments that remain between tenderness and unease, vulnerability and self-protection.
